Short-day onion

The onions in this segment are very well-adapted to latitudes from 0º to 35º. Due to their genetic characteristics, they do not have a high tolerance to bolting, so it is advisable to delay their sowing.

Their main characteristic is the firmness and consistency of the bulbs, which reduces damage due to handling and even makes export and storage possible with a minimum loss of quality.

The plants have an upright and vigorous growth, which allows for a better aeration, thus reducing the sensitivity to fungal diseases such as mildew.
